The summer of my fourth year in college.
Each of us had started to decide on our future paths, enjoying what would be our last summer as students.
Today too, I was drinking with my best friend Tomifumi and his girlfriend Hikari at our usual spot, following the routine course.
How many more times can we spend a day like this…? Somehow, I didn't want to go home, so we decided to have another round at my place.
When I woke up, Hikari was right beside me, breathing softly in her sleep.
Sometime during the night, she must have passed out from drinking.
